The United States Army uses many different satellite and reconnaissance planes in order to photograph terrains around the world. This is important to be able to spot things which are violation of international codes. It is also used to make sure that the battle command center will be able to know about all possible risks that soldiers will face when entering a hostile territory. The job of the imagery analyst is to look over the photographs and find all pertinent information.

One of the great things about working as an imagery analyst is that you will have the self-satisfying feeling that you are making a difference in the lives of the soldiers. You will be able to know that you are making a difference between walking into a situation without any knowledge and walking in with a plan to handle all scenarios they can be facing. Plane can also be tweaked to make sure the attacking force is large enough to handle the mission.
