Moving personnel, cargo and arms is a normal everyday occurrence in the United States Army. There are so many vehicles going to so many different places, it is not always easy to keep track of what is going on. The person in charge of keeping tabs on everything is the Transportation Management Coordinator. You will help to make sure that all vehicles and their destinations are accounted for at all times.
Vehicle Requisitions
When you are in need of a vehicle, you do not care where it comes from. The job of the Transportation Management Coordinator is to make sure that at any time should a vehicle be asked for that you will know whether it is in stock or needs to be requisitioned from another source. Your job will not only be to accept the requisition and fill them out. It will be to advise those requisitioning vehicles as to which ones will be best for their needs.
