 The United States Army is responsible for aircraft which will fly missions all around the world as well as cargo ships which will deliver equipment and supplies to those who need them. As a result, the Army bases are alive with the different kinds of aircraft which fly in and out on a constant basis. This is the reason why it is so important that the air traffic is monitored and controlled at all times.
What You Will Do

 There is a lot of cargo which the United States Army is responsible for on a daily basis. This cargo is shipped throughout the world and distributed through the use of trucks and other vehicles. It is the job of the cargo specialist to make sure that he cargo is being loaded and unloaded properly on all flights and all vehicles. This makes sure that the loads will always get to where they are going intact.
What You Will Do
You will make sure that the right cargo is in the right place at the right time so that it can be shipped to the right destination through the right delivery means. You will be responsible for maintaining the manifests for all shipments as well as making sure that they are loaded properly with the right attention paid to balance and weight requirements.  A typical United States Army base is one which is filled with movement and action. This is because there always seems to be trucks and aircraft entering and leaving the base. The flow can get quite chaotic at times. It is important that some semblance of order can be found in order to keep everything from falling apart. This includes making sure that the right cargo is getting on the right trucks and that the motor transport operators know where they are going and how to get there.
What You Will Do

 The United States Army uses motor vehicles to get everything from troops to equipment from one location to another. It is important not only that the proper cargo is loaded onto the right trucks. It is important that they are loaded on correctly. This involves shipping schedules and making sure the vehicles are where they are supposed to be when they are supposed to be there. This is the job of the Motor Transport Operator.
Driving the Truck
While you will be asked to drive many different kinds of motor vehicles, the most important vehicles you will be driving include the heavy transport vehicles. These are the flat beds and the other kinds of semi-trucks which will be used to move people and things across battle zones. You will also be asked to oversee the loading and unloading of the truck in order to make sure that the loads will not cause any damage to the motor vehicle.

 There are times when the United States Army will ask soldiers to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft. When this happens, the soldier is putting his life into the expectation that the parachute being used will open as expected. If there is a problem with the parachute, it will cause the soldier to risk injury or possibly even death as a result. This is why the job of the parachute rigger in the US Army is so very important.
What You Will Do
When you work in this position, you will be expected to properly pack different types of chutes. You will be expected to pack everything from individual parachutes for troops to larger chutes used for equipment and vehicles. You will also be in charge of checking the material of the parachute in order to make sure that it is in good operational condition. If not, you are expected to make repairs or take the parachute out of service.

 The United States Army is well known for its extensive use of helicopters for different types of missions. These helicopters range in their size, features and mechanics. As a result, it is necessary for many of these helicopters to have specialized crews to work on them. It is now even possible to fly into a battle zone without any pilots being in danger. The unmanned aircraft used by the United States Army are the most advanced in the world.  The armor division is one of the most feared divisions in the United States Army. There is nothing an enemy force wants to hear less than the rumble of tanks as they close in on their position. This is because of the high accuracy of the tanks as well as the ability to sniff out the troop movements of the opposition with a high degree of accuracy. One of the important members of this team is the cavalry scout.
